SAYRE, Okla. - H.W. "Harvey" Sanders, 89, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Lone Oak Baptist Church at Lone Oak with 
Albert Warnken and Stan Baker officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery 
by Rose Chapel Funeral Service.

Mr. Sanders was born at Buffalo, Okla. He was a farmer in the Buffalo and Lone Oak 
communities and a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church where he served on the 
building committee. He moved to Sayer in 1971 from Lone Oak.

He married Argie Charlene Vance in 1929. She died in 1961. He married Nanie Lou 
Evans in 1963 at Sayre.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Wayne Sanders of Amarillo and Jerry Sanders 
of Sayre; two step-daughters, Loretta Hall of Elk City and Diane Blackburn of 
Oklahoma City; a stepson, Van Coe of Tecumseh; two sisters, Esther Bonham and Ethel 
Davis, both of Elk City; a brother, Villard Sanders of Sayre; 14 grandchildren; and 
25 great-grandchildren.
