He passed away on October 26, 2008, in Sayre at the age of 70. Harold attended Cheyenne High School, graduating in 1956. During his senior year, he met his beloved wife of 52 years, Barbara Jean (Bonds) Scott. They were married in Cheyenne on February 24, 1956. They operated the family dairy farm at Strong City for a number of years before making a series of moves to allow Harold to pursue his dream of becoming an artist. They have resided in Sayre since 1971. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, George Loyd Scott; one sister, Billie A. Vincent and brother-in-law, Wally Vincent. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of he home; his children, Judy Ray and husband, Jimmie of Elk City, Donnie Kincaid and husband, Tom Greiner of Tulsa, Vincent Harold Scott, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Sayre, Brian Scott and wife, Monica of Sayre, Jimmy Scott and wife, Mary Anne of Llano, Texas; two brothers, Bobby Scott and wife, Darlene and Gary Scott and wife, Jeanette all of Strong City; two sisters, Betty Lamb and husband, Stanley of Sayre and Lonna Long and husband, Don of Hacienda Heights, California; ten grandchildren and many other close friends and relatives upon whose lives he left a lasting impression. Services were held October 29, 2008 at 1 P.M. at Trinity Fellowship officiated by Buddy Suthers. Burial will be at Strong City Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
