 Funeral rites for Mrs. Iantha Shelton, Elk City, route 5, who
passed away Thursday at her home, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the
Martin-Hullum chapel.
 
 Mrs. Shelton was born in Adair county, Kentucky, January 9, 1877 and
was married 50 years ago to James Shelton, who preceded her in death in
1926.
 
 The Sheltons came to this county in 1911 and had lived here since. She
was a member of the Methodist church.
 
 Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Boydston of Elk City, a
granddaughter, Marie Thomas of Elk City, a great grandson, Michal Thomas
of Elk City, and a brother, William W. Walkup of Sayre.
 
 Rev. Finis Critchfield will conduct the services. Burial will be in
Bellview cemetery with Martin-Hullum in charge.
