  Funeral services for C. G.
Thompson, 314 North Third
street, pioneer resident of west-
ern Oklahoma, who died at 10:20
a. m. Tuesday at this home in
Sayre, will be held Wednesday,
February 15, at 3 p. m. from the
First Methodist church of Sayre
with Rev. E. T. Cooprider offi-
ciating.
  Mr. Thompson is survived by
his wife of the home address;
two daughters, Mrs. Rhea
Holmes, Sayre, Mrs. Marcella
Purdy, Dallas, Texas; two grand-
children, one great grand
child and a number of nieces.
  Committal will be in Sayre-
Doxey cemetery with Scroggins
Funeral home in charge of ar-
rangements.
