Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Reydon First Baptist Church with Rev. Billie Wheeler officiating. Interment will be in White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under direction of Rose Chapel of Cheyenne. Barbara, daughter of James Allen and Martha Jane Duke, was born April 18, 1922 in Durham and attended school there. On July 1, 1939, she married Robert E. Wheeler, and they were married for 45 years until he died in 1984. She lived most of her life in western Oklahoma and later moved to Muskogee before moving to Erick in 1988. She is survived by her husband J.G. Taylor of the home, a duaghter, Manta Jane Spring of Bixby; three sons, Bobby Dean Wheeler, Reydon; Billy Jene Wheeler, Baton Rouge, LA; James Ellison Wheeler, Boynton, Okla.; athree sisters, Rene Penny, of Reedley, Calif.; Bank Smith, Elk City; Lois Wright; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
