Funeral ser- vices were held earlier at Clinton with Rev. T. A. Whitlock of the Butler Baptist church officiating. Mrs. Vanyle had been a resident of Custer county since 1892, moving to this section from Texas. At the time of her death she was making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Cy Howenstine at Arapaho. Survivors other than her daugh- ter, mrs. Howenstine, are Mrs. Clarence Oaks of Canute and a son, John Rogers of Marysville, Calif.
