Interment will be in the Spring Creek cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel of Sayre. (25 Oct 1991) Elzy was born Feb. 14, 1901 in Springfield, Greene County, Missouri and died Thursday in the Hensley nursing home of Sayre. He moved with his parents Elige and Ella Vanzandt to Willow in 1922. He married Ollie Mae Allsup in 1924 in Willow, where they continued to live. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, an infant son and one grandson. Survivors include his wife Ollie of the home; one daughter Joyce and husband Bill Hughes of Rochester, New York; four sons, Francis of Oklahoma City, Wayland of Humbolt, Tenn., Roy Joe of Enid, Dolphus of Arizona; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
