Interment will follow in the Spring Creek Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Ollie Vanzandt was born September 22, 1909 in Willow to Ann and Columbus Allsup and died today in Sayre Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. (3 Feb 1998) Ollie attended school at Ocina. In 1924, Ollie married Elzy M. Vanzandt in Willow. They made their home north of Willow where they farmed and ranched. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. Ollie wa preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son, one grandson and nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Hughes of Houston; four sons, Francis Vanzandt and wife, Jane, of Oklahoma City, Wayland Vanzandt and wife, Betty, of Humbolt, Tennessee, Roy Joe Vanzandt of Enid and Dolphus Gene Vanzandt and wife, Mary, of Arizona; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
