Beckham Co. OK - OBIT: Mrs. John M. (Wilson) Williams Submitted by Evelyn Skelton Sell Death Claims Mrs. Williams Death claimed the body of Mrs. John M. Williams Thursday afternoon at 3:15, just two months and seventeen days after her husband died from injuries received in an accident at one of the local gins. Since the time of Mr. Williams death she had been sinking and death came as an end to her bereavenent. Her many friends were faithful in visiting her and trying to comfort her. All that medical skill could do was to no avail. Funeral services were conducted by Rev Tinkle at the home Friday at 3:15 p.m. after which internment was made in the Edwardsville cemetery. Mary Wilson was born in Topeka, Kansas, May 14, 1856. Moved from Kansas to Newton County, Mo at the age of two years. Was married to John Mitchell Williams. To this union was born 6 children, 3 boys, Clarence W, of Hooker: Nathan and Jack, both of Foss: three girls, Ester and Merla, of Foss: Gladys, who died in California at the age of 6 years: Mrs. Williams professed her faith in Christ in 1910 and united with the Christian Church.
