 Injuries sustained in an auto-
mobile crash south of Cheyenne
Friday resulted in the death of
Walter Carr Waddell, 63-year-old
Sayre man, at the Clinton hospital
Wednesday.
  Waddell lost control of his car
when it skidded on the gravel. As
the automobile turned over he
was pinned beneath it and suffer-
ed a brain concussion.
  Funeral services were held at
2 o'clock this afternoon at the Lit-
trell-Scorggins chapel with Rev.
J. L. Davis officiating.  Interment
was made a the Sayre-Doxey
cemetery.
  Waddell leaves his wife, Cather-
ine; two sons, D. G., Whiticker,
Calif, and Ray, Pasadena; a 
daughter; two sisters, Mrs. Flet-
cher Gregory, Sayre, and Mrs.
Hugh Gray, Hobbs, N. M., and a
brother, Frank.
