Funeral services for Mrs. Sa- rah Adeline Wheeler, 79, who died Saturday, were conducted in the Martin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Rev. J. L. Woolman, pastor of- ficiated. Burial was in the Fairlawn cemetery. Sarah Adeline Wheeler was born in Missouri March 25, 1889. She came to this area in 1899 and was married to John I. Wheeler in 1909 at Arapaho. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1950. She was a mem- ber of the Church of the Naz- arene. For the past year she had resided at the Hodges Nur- sing Home. Survivors include 6 sons, Claude, Amarillo, Tex.; Bruce, Maynard, Mike and Paul, all of Elk City, and Bill, Midwest Ci- ty; three daughters, Mrs. June Lackey, Hoffman, Mrs. Pat Ho- ward, Moore, Mrs. Inez Klause, Borger, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Gertie Carver, Rock Island, Ill., Mrs. Amy Swearinger, Sa- cramento, Calif, and Mrs. Car- rie Eddie, Medford, Ore.; 24 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren.
