  W. W. Wheeler, Lon-time resident
of this city died Tuesday at  his
home in Oklahoma City.  The body
was brought to Elk City by the Sav-
age Funeral home on Wednesday
and Services will be held at 2 O'clock
Friday afternoon.
  While in Elk City, he was with
the Herring and Young store and
later was city night watchman.
  He had lived for the last three
years with his daughter Mrs. Ruby
Grounds in Oklahoma City.
  The deceased was 76 years of age.
he has three brothers, Claude 
Wheeler of Butler and Clyde and
John Wheeler of this city.
