Timothy Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. James Norvelle Wisdom was born May 5, 1941 at Kansas City, Kansas to Thomas and Mary Opal Stores Mitchell and died Monday at the age of 60. James attended school at Winedot Co. School in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from high school and enlisted in the United States Navy. After serving his country he becamed a Security Guard in San Francisco, California where he made his home until 1999 when he moved to Elk City and made his home at Bell Avenue Nursing Center. James wa preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clarence Mitchell; one niece, and a great nephew. Survivors include his two sisters, Oma Lee Walker of Hammon, OK and Zelma Schltzbaum and husband Joe of Dadeville, Missouri; and one brother, Edgar Mitchell of Elk City, OK.
