All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Emma Grace Harsch, was born Sept. 1, 1860, in Ohio, and died January 29, 1939 at Elk City, Okla. She was married to Charles H. Wolf on November 19, 1877. To this union were born five children, a son dying in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death on January 12, 1936, at Erick, Oklahoma. She is survived by the following children: Walter Wolf, of Erick, Okla.; Mrs. Margaret B. Redburn, of Elk City, Okla; Harry E. Wolf, of Oklahoma City; Herbert L. Wolf, of Erick, Okla. Four grandchildren, Garland Wolf and Emma Lee Wolf, both of Erick; Aubrey F. Redburn, of Elk City, Okla., and Glendene Wolf of Oklahoma City, and one great grandchild, Lindon Wolf of Erick, also survive. Two brothers, Thomas Harsch, of St. Francisville, Mo., and Alonzo Harsch, of Davenport, Iowa, also survive. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. January 31, 1939, at the First Christian church of Erick with Dr. Ernest G. Mobley, pastor of the First Christian church of Elk City officiating. Interment was in the Erick cemetery. Mrs. Wolf was a devoted Christian, and a faithful attendant at the services of the church while in good health. She will be greatly missed by her family and a host of friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Wolf will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the First Christian church in Erick with Dr. Ernest C. Mobley, pastor of the First Christian church here, officiating. Mrs. Wolf died Sunday afternon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.F. Redburn, 603 North Main Street, Elk City. Mrs. Wolf had made her home here with Mrs. Redburn for some time, coming to Elk City from Erick. She was born September 1, 1860 in Ohio and was married 62 years ago in Kohoku, Mo., to Charles Wolf. Her maiden name was Harsch. The couple came to the county in 1901. Mr. Wolf preceded her in death January 12, 1936. Mrs. Wolf was 78 years, four months, and 28 days of age. Surviving are four children. Walter of Erick; Harry, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Redburn, and Herbert Wolf of Erick. Additional survivors include four grandchilren and one great-grandchild. Interment will be made at the Erick cemetery. [tombstone says she was born 1857].
