Bill, the son of Jim and Lillian Agnes Yell, married Zuda Mary Tipton, September 19, 1926 in Sayre, Okla., and they lived and framed around the Sweetwater,Grimes and Sunny Point Communities before moving to Erick and later to Sayre in 1983. He had been a member of the Hillsboro, Texas Church of Christ for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survivived by his wife, Zuda of the home; 2 daughters: Judy Foster of Spavinaw, Okla.; and Vonnie Lee Mesa of Oklahoma City; 3 sons, Buck of Texico, New Mexico; Leon of Hooker, Oklahoma and Joe of Arlington, Virginia; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 14, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sayre Church of Christ with Jerry Moffit officiating. Burial was in the Brookside Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Sayre.
