All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ BAIN, CARL (16 Aug 1923, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): BODY OF BROTHER FOUND The body of Carl Bain, who was lost in a snow storm last winter, has been recovered, according to his brother, Bill Bain, who lives in Grimes. He was in Montana. Bill Bain conducted the searching party for the body about two months ago, but it was not found then. Since he has returned home word has been received that the body was found near the top of the mountain lodged in the crevice of a rock. It is said that due to freezing, the features were perfectly preserved and the body was easily identified as that of Carl Bain.
