BEADLE, J. W.
(18 Jan 1923, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mr. J. W. Beadle who lived alone 4 1-2 miles up the Washita from Cheyenne
was found dead in his bed Wednesday, January 10, by Merlin Cross.  From
the condition of the body, Dr. Cross, who was called judged Mr. Beadle had
been dead since Sunday.  His four sons and two daughters, Mrs. Nettie
Duncan of Erick and Mrs. Callie Ousley of Amorilla (sic) were hastily
summoned.
The body was laid to rest in Cheyenne cemetery, Friday, January 12.  Mr.
Beadle was probably 70 years old.
