BRIGHT, PINKNEY GILFORD
(15 Aug 1912, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Boy Killed by Lightning.
The twelve-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bright, living near Dill
City, was struck by lightning this morning at about 8 o'clock and
instantly killed.  He was shucking corn in the barn when the accident
occured (sic) and it is reported that the barn was not damaged in any way.
