Butler, or "Don" as he was familiarly called, was born in Inez, Kentucky, March 7th, 1904 and died October 27th, near Canute, Okla., aged 20 years, 7 months and 20 days. On May 16th 1924 he was married to Miss Susan Adkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anch Adkins. His mother lives near Canute, his father having preceded him several years ago. He was a good young man, and all who knew him loved and respected him. He had been so good to his widowed mother and was also a very kind and affectionate husband, that he had the respect of all, which was shown by the way neighbors and friends turned out to pay their last respects to the young man.
