All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ CAMPBELL, SAMUEL (24 Nov 1904, Erick Newspaper, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): Samuel Campbell, who lives near Wingo died last Saturday from the effects of a gunshot wound received one week ago. His gun was accidentally discharged while he was climbing through a wire gate and the entire charge entered his left shoulder making any ugly wound and shattering the bones. (24 Nov 1904, Erick Newspaper, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): Samuel Campbell died Friday night Nov. 18, from the effects of a gunshot he received Wednesday, by accidentally dropping a gun, as he was passed through a wire fence. His left Humeri and Scapulae were broken. Deceased was about 60 years of age. He leaves eight children, besides a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. The interment took place Sunday, south of Texola. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved ones.
