CLAYTON, INFANT
(9 Oct 1919, Thursday, Southwest Press, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
SMOTHERS BABY WITH BLANKETS.
Mrs. Cecil Clayton of Mangum was visiting friends at Port last week, with
her 18 day old baby, when she wrapped the infant in two quilts and two
blankets to keep it warm, and accidentally smothered it to death.
Burial was at Dill City last Tuesday, by the very sad parents and friends.
