CRESWELL, LEROY
(18 Nov 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
LeRoy Creswell, 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Creswell of near Hammon, died
shortly afternoon today in a city hospital from injuries which he received
Saturday afternoon when the horse which he was riding became frightened
and ran away.  The injured boy did not regain consciousness.  He was
brought to a hospital here Sunday morning.  A brain injury caused his
death physicians said.
LeRoy is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Creswell.  A son 19 was killed two
years ago.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the
Creswell residence north and east of Hammon.  Rev. L. V. Rector, pastor of
the Methodist Episcopal Church will officiate.  Interment will be made in
the Moorewood cemetery.  Killough-Hullum funeral directors, are in charge
in arrangements.
