CURTIS, H. E.
(9 Dec 1924, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
PASTOR KILLED IN RUNAWAY.
Rev. H. E. Curtis of the Reed community in Greer county, was killed almost
instantly when thrown from a cotton wagon.  He was returning from a gin,
driving a team of young mules, of which he is said to have been afraid. 
Before leaving the gin he told a friend that he didn't know if he would
get home alive.
