CLINTON, June 19. - (U.P.) - George Duncan, 45 year old farmer of Cordell, was killed today when an automobile in which he was riding was struck by an electrical power officials car on the Santa Fe railroad four miles west of Bessie. Two companions, Charles Nicholson and Ernest Reiber; Cordell farmers, were slightly injured. Duncan died at the Cordell hospital. (23 Jun 1930, Monday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Cordell Farmer Was Killed Thursday. George Duncan, 45, of Cordell was killed Thursday when an automobile in which he was riding was hit by an electrical power officials' car on the Santa Fe railroad four miles west of Bessie. Duncan, prosperous farmer was with two other farmers at the time of the accident. His companions were only slightly injured.
