EDGAR, MALE
(6 Oct 1909, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
CHILD ACCIDENTILY KILLED
The two little boys of Carl Edgars living near Canute, three and five
years, found a gun under a bed in the bedroom, the older boy knowing where
the shells were kept got one and loaded the gun.  While the children were
playing with the gun it was discharged the contents entering the younger
child's side, passing through the body killing it instantly.
