FRANKS, LARKIN
(22 Jul 1920, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
TO BROTHER'S BEDSIDE
T. J. Franks received a telegram Saturday that his brother Larkin Franks,
at Yonkers, Okla., was not expected to live and Tom and his wife left that
night to be with him.  Larkin was one of the victims of Peggs storm, he
having been visiting another brother living in Peggs that day.  His wife
and two children were killed.  Eight members of the Franks family were
killed or died from the effects of the injuries received then.
