GENTRY, WILLIAM B.
(6 Feb 1930, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
SAYRE MAN MEETS TRAGIC DEATH.
Willie B. Gentry, 32, of Sayre was killed instantly last Thursday near
Stinnett, Texas, as his car overturned off a bridge, pinning him
underneath.
One of his three companions was in a Stinnett hospital in a critical
condition.  Gentry was in employ of the Rock Island Ry. Company in the
engineering department and had been doing some surveying for his company
near Stinnett.
The body was taken to Sayre where the funeral was held Saturday afternoon.
Young Gentry was known in this community and formerly resided in Texola,
where he received his education, graduating from the high school there
some years ago.
