Physicians attribute the inopportune death of Mrs. Gill to heart trouble. By the apparent preparations which the city woman had made with her packages and bags, it is thought that her death occurred only a few minutes before the train reached Elk City. Too, the conductor states that he had conversed with her only a short time previously. The death of Mrs. Gill was not noticed until the conductor went to assist the woman in leaving the train. She seemingly was in good health when she left her son in Oklahoma City, he informed when notified of his mother's death. The arrival of Mrs. Gill here was unexpected. She was to have called her son here upon her arrival, the Oklahoma City man informed. Lived Here Four Years. Mrs. Gill has resided in this city for the past four years since the death of her husband, J. R. Gill, in Moline, Kansas. She was residing in an apartment at 817 West Third street. She had become well known in the years of her residence here, being active in the affairs of the First Methodist Episcopal church and the Eastern Star order. Mrs. Gill lived in Moline for about 40 years prior to her coming to this city. She was born in Janesville, Wis., June 16, 1861.
