In the car with Green were his brother-in-law, Mac. Scott, Bob Stevens, and Henry and Jim Bonneau. Details of the accident are meagre, but it seems that the car threw a rim in the sand and it was not noticed. When the car run onto the bridge it was turned over, and fell down the embankment some eight or ten feet. According to the best information available at this time the other occupants of the car were not seriously injured. Green's neck was broken and it is supposed that death came instantenously (sic). He was 19 years old. The body was prepared for burial by Grubitz & Son and was taken to Wheeler, Texas, where interment was made. The parents, who were former residents of this city, have the sympathy of many friends in their sad bereavement. CARD OF THANKS We wish to express the sincerest of thanks to our many friends who were so kind to us and gave us so much sympathy in the death of our son and brother. Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Green Mr. and Mrs. Mac Scott Paul Green Mr. and Mrs. V. V.
