Mrs. James McClain received a message last Friday telling her of the death of her brother, Isaac Gilmer (sic), who was accidentally killed on Oct. 29, on a ranch near Garden Valley, Idaho, where he had been employed for the past fifteen years. He was helping to round up some cattle when a calf ran in front of the horse, throwing it down and pinning Mr. Gilmer underneath, killing him almost instantly. He was buried at Garden Valley. Mrs. McClain has six brothers and this is the first death among the children. The News-Democrat joins her friends in extending deepest sympathy in her hour of sorrow.
