GUINN, FEMALE
(2 Jan 1919, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
LADY FREEZES TO DEATH.
A lady by the name of Guinn was frozen to death at her home seven miles
north of Hammon on Christmas eve.  She had been to one of the neighbors
when the storm came up.  She started to go home, going round a canyon,
where there were some deep drifts.  Some say, her clothes caught on a barb
wire fence in such a manner that she could not extricate herself.  She was
dead when found by friends who were searching for her.  She was about
sixty years of age.
