Mr. Orville Hall is reported to be very seriously injured and a boy, Onie Wright, a cousin, who was also in the car, was so badly hurt that amputation of one leg was necessary. Orville Hall was known by many people here as his mother formerly taught school at old Carter a good many years ago. His wife who was killed was also known here. She was formerly Miss Mamie (sic) Loomis, a sister of Clarence Loomis, formerly connected with the England Mercantile Co. here. The many friends of the family deeply deplore the terrible accident. ---------------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.htm
