INGRAM, W. B.
(12 May 1910, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Rumors have it that a killing occured (sic) in Madge, Okla., which is
located in the new county of Harmon, Monday evening.  Joe Batchlear killed
a man named Ingram.  Both men are prominent in Madge and were engaged in
the mercantile business.  Batchlear surrendered to the authorities in
Hollis Tuesday morning.  The trouble seems to have occured  over a dispute
on an account that Ingram owed Batchlear.

J. G. BACHELOR ACQUITTED.
At the recent term of the district court in Harmon county, J. G. Bachelor
was acquitted of the charge of murdering his brother-in-law, W. B. Ingram.
