S. Coley drove to Hobart with W. M. and R. L. Jackson, where they attended the funeral of Miss Vesta Jackson, who was burned to death in the Babb Switch school house catostrophe (sic). Mr. Coley informs us that the disaster was worse than the daily papers picture it, and no one can realize just what did occur. It was a shock that only time can heel., and our deepest sympathy goes out to the bereaved, who had their loved ones taken from them, when all looked so bright and happy. This sad occurance (sic) should impress upon our minds, that we are only drifters upon this earth and that we know not what second we may be called to answer the roll call from whence no traveler 'ere returns. Live a clean life - pay no attention to the hypocrites , for they cannot touch your soul, and when your time comes, your case will be in the hands of Him who rules all, and may you receive His reward.
