JORDAN, MALE
(2 Dec 1915, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
BOY KILLED BY A HORSE.
The seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Jordan, living north of
Erick, was tramped to death under the hoofs of a frightened horse last
Tuesday morning.  The boy was riding the horse, which was hitched to a
harrow, along the public road, when the animal became frightened and the
boy was thrown to the ground.  As he fell his foot became fastened in the
bridle rein and his body was dragged under the hoofs of the horse.  When
finally released the boy was dead.
