At an inquiry held by Judge R. S. Andrews, of Sayre, the jury stated that Scott had died of either natural or self-inflicted cause, it was reported. Those serving on the jury were George F. Jarvis, H. Lane, Joe Bell, T. M. Mosely, N. W. Watts and L. S. Gillum. An effort is being made by Deputy Sheriff M. Y. Baker, to locate relatives of Scott, believed to be in Oklahoma City. No one at the tourist camp knew anything of the deceased man and only meager information was obtained from personal belongings. The decision of the jurors at the inquest reflected the general opinion as to the cause of Scott's death. It may be that the man died of exposure, for he was dressed scantily and his bed on which he had slept was only a thing mattress laid on the ground. The blanket was his covering. However, there was a possibility that he drunk some of the denatured alcohol, it was stated.
