MATZLER, MALE
(8 Feb 1923, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH FROM SWALLOWING SCREW
The twenty-two months old baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Matzler died early
yesterday afternoon, from swallowing a screw.  He was playing near a
rocking chair where he probably got the screw.  When the mother noticed
him he was beginning to choke, sucking the screw into his windpipe and on
into his lungs, which caused death immediately, before a doctor could be
summoned.
Burial took place at the Ural cemetery at 3:30 today.
Mrs. Matzler was formerly Anna Eggleston.
