MC KINNEY, LOUISE
(25 Jun 1925, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Little Louise McKinney, ran away from her home Monday just after dinner
and when her parents found her, she was in the creek close by and they
thought she was going down the 3rd time, however, every aid was given but
nothing could revive.
Louise was the second child of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. McKinney, having a son
just older and a tiny baby, who reside on a farm 5 1/2 miles North of
Erick.  Mrs. McKinney is a niece of Mr. J. D. Shelton who now lives at
Odell, Tex., but still has two farms north of here.
Little Louise had just reached a sweet age, 2 yrs., 1 mo., and 7 days,
when she had begun talking plain and saying cute things.  The remains were
laid to rest in the Erick Cemetery at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev.
Graham preached the services and said a number of impressive words to help
these parents in their hours of sorrow.  We offer our sincere sympathy to
the bereaved.
