NICHOLS, CHARLES
(7 Jun 1906, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Charles Nichols, aged 20, was drowned Sunday in Elm creek, near Mangum,
while swimming with a party of young men friends.  He got beyond his depth
and an attempt by his brother to rescue him was futile.
