(23 Sep 1920, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
KILLED IN AUTO ACCIDENT
J. D. Garnett received the sad message Tuesday of the instant death in an
auto accident of his brother-in-law, Dr. W. E. Nichols, a prominent
physician of Tulsa.  Dr. Nichols was killed instantly when the car in
which he was riding collided with a truck load of sand.
He leaves a wife and little boy.  Mr. Garnett left for Tulsa Tuesday night.
