All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ************************************************ PETERMAN, CARL (14 Nov 1929, Wednesday, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the St. Joseph church for Carl Peterman, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Peterman, of Sweetwater, Father A. Geeraert, presided. The boy died Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock from injuries received when he was run over by a wagon. When harness broke, the tongue of the wagon plowed the ground, jolting the wagon, causing the lad to be thrown to the ground, and the wagon ran over him. He never regained consciousness after the accident. Carl Peterman leaves of his immediate family, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peterman, four brothers, Vincent Peterman of Texas and Leo, Herod and Tom, four sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Kennedy of Oklahoma City, and Ellen, Rita and a baby sister.
