REESE, MALE
(5 Jul 1906, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
The son of Mr. Reese, who lives west of Berlin, was pecularly (sic) struck
by lightning and killed last week.  It was at night and all had retired,
Mr. Reese and wife slept down stairs and the three boys up stairs.  The
bolt came through the roof, passed entirely through the body of one of the
boys sleeping in one bed, throwing him over his brother, on the floor.  It
then passed through the floor across the bed of Mr. and Mrs. Reese,
paralizing (sic) Mr. Reese for hours.  The bolt then passed out of the
window.  It was a sad accident.
