Sing, received a letter this week from Wyoming, giving particulars of how Mr. Sing was killed, notice of whose death appeared in these columns last week. The letter states that Mr. Sing and his friend were walking between a switch and the main line, a freight being on the siding, when a passenger train came around a sharp curve. Mr. Sing and his friend both attempted to cross the tracks ahead of the approaching train. Mr. Sing was caught by the train and crushed to death, but his friend barely saved himself by rolling down a high dump. --------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.html
