(21 Apr 1926, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Robert B. South, prominent cattle buyer of Leedey, met death by his own hand last Friday, his body being found on the same spot where C. R. Flint, Leedey banker, committed suicide a few months ago. No reason can be discovered for the rash act. Mr. South was one of a party of three men who discovered Flint's body soon after his death. He was an old resident of Leedey, is well known all over this part of the country, and was 41 years old. He leaves a wife and three children. Interment was made in the North Burns Cemetery in Washita county, the arrangements being in charge of Grubitz & Son, of this city. --------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.html
