TIPTON, VENNET
(24 Oct 1929, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Last Saturday the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Tipton, living
south of Texola, met instant death, when he was run over by a trailer
loaded with cotton and attached to his father's car.  The little fellow
had desired to accompany his father to the gin, and had climbed upon the
rear of his father's car, who did not know the boy was there.  A short
distance from their home the boy fell from the car and the trailer wheels
passed over his head crushing his skull.
The funeral services were held at the Texola Baptist church Sunday evening
at 4:00 p.m. - D. G. Fatheree in charge.  (Texola Cemetery, Texola,
Beckham County, Okla:
Vennet Tipton, born 10 Aug 1926; died 19 Oct 1929.)
