TREADWELL, ADELINE
(1 May 1924, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
ERICK LADY DIES HERE
Mrs. Adeline Treadwell was brought to Elk City Hospital the last of week
suffering from blood poisoning in arm.  She suffered much until Tuesday
morning when she passed away at the age of 72 years 6 months and 13 days. 
The body was prepared for burial by Grubitz & Son and shipped to Bellevue,
Texas, for burial.  Her husband, two daughters and other relatives were
with her here before she died and accompanied remains to Texas.

Died.
Mrs. Adeline Treadwell, wife of J. P. Treadwell, died at a hospital in Elk
City, April 29th.
Mrs. Treadwell, better known by all in this section as Grandma Treadwell,
was 72 years, 6 months and 13 days old.  She and husband have lived in
this community for the past nineteen years and have made many friends
here, who will deeply mourn her death.  The remains were shipped to
Bellevue, Texas, her old home, for burial.
Her two sons, A. M. Treadwell and Henry Treadwell and daughter, Mrs. O. B.
Roberts, were present when the end came.
