(24 Nov 1921, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): KILLED BY FALL B. B. Turner of ten miles south east of town, fell from a load of fodder, which he was hauling from the field last Monday and was instantly killed. M. B. Abbott, who was on the wagon with him stopped the team and ran to him, but as Mr. Abbott reached his side he drew his last breath. Mr. Turner, who is 76 years old has lived in this community for the past twenty years and at one time owned a store near Waco Star school house, but for the past fifteen years has been on the same farm. He leaves a wife and one son, who lives at Nashville, Tenn.
