Just how the accident occurred is difficult to say and several reports have been circulated regarding the cause. However, in some manner the two cars crashed into each other and Wells and Bond were injured when they collided. The Gentry-Killough ambulance was called to the scene of the wreck and the injured were rushed to a local hospital.
