FRENCH celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary at a reception in their home Sunday afternoon from 2:30 to 5:00. They were assisted by their children Mr. And Mrs. Herbert R. Boyte and Mr. And Mrs. J. A. French. The house was decorated profusely with flowers from the gardens of friends. Mrs. Chas. Brooks and Mrs. W. E. Simmonds had charge of the guest book. The reception table, which was covered with a lace cloth, was flanked by bouquets of golden flowers. The lovely four tiered wedding cake, which was made by Mrs. Boyte, was decorated with tiny yellow rose buds and white love birds and topped by a large gold wedding ring. Mrs. French cut the first piece of wedding cake and served the bridegroom of fifty years ago. Mrs. H. S. Moss, Mrs. G. R. Galloway and Mrs. D. M. Elms assisted in serving the many friends who came to greet Mr. And Mrs. French on this glad day.
