Hammits Celebrate Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary Recently Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hammit celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary, July 2nd, in the home of their daughter, Mrs. J. W. Hays. On hand for the occasion were their daughters, Mrs. Hale Thompson, (the former Velma Hammit), Mrs. Jack Williams, (the former Beulah Hammit), Mrs. Charlie Moore, (the former Grace Hammit) and Mrs. J. W. Hays, (the former Alice Hammit). Other guests included their grandson, LaRue McEntire, and family, Mrs. Rufus Cox and daughter, Dovie Ann, and the families of the four daughters mentioned above. A buffet style dinner was served to the group.
